My O.A.D. - DIY Intro.

(~*~)
Hello,
Welcome to my O.A.D. = Overall Appearance Designing!
When I think of going out (especially to a themed event), to me, it is an adventure awaiting my arrival. So I am sure to be in good spirits when I am preparing, and once Trish leaves our home pad.

A, B, Cs Of How I Do It

A. ASK...
~ WHAT Character/ aspects of?

From head to toe - ideas, wants, and "must haves" - Accessories, clothing, and props!
What I already have in mind to use/ work with, as well as any new ideas to create.
WRITE A LIST, it helps!
B. BELIEVE...
~ That you can figure it out!

~ That you can find what you need!
~ That you can pull it off!
Wearing it, LARPing in it, etc... whichever you choose.

C. CATEGORIES...

TIPS For Item Gathering
a) Look into my inventory for anything I may already have, or can work with.
b) Gather all items from my inventory into one pile, remembering to keep them separate from all others.
c) If I don't have an item(s) I need, then I try to keep shopping for them as cheap as possible.
Comparison shopping is first online, then hitting the pavement.
Try here:
~ thrift/ dollar stores         ~ surplus shops         ~ "bargain" stores

If I have to... Walmart or other "regular" stores.

With this I have enjoyed many activities/ events, and adventuring throughout my local community.
