Artist Bio Request - A Self-Discovery

Hello,
This started out as a request from the owner of Rare Funk, as I was a consignor there. A lady that not only continues to surprise me, and that I have a hard time "keeping up with"; but also one that continually inspires me... Tamara Minns. Thankz for that Tamara!!! (*@^@*)
It turned into a project of it's own, and a self discovery for me. I had never really knew what it was, or how to write one. So I did some research online, and found LOTS of information to guide me. A couple "blogs" in particular were very helpful, and I even blogged about it myself on Thursday, January 5, 2012. Called 'TOOLS FOR YOUR BIO OR EPKs', and found here: http://contactusfree.blogspot.com/
The first paragraph was not too difficult, it was the second one that stumped me. I had "writer's block" for a few days, so I decided to create "splash pages" of all the things I do, have done, and like to do. Starting with my "categories", I then chose the pics (to describe at a glance), and put them together with a photo editor.
This was a bit difficult, but I persevered and I'm GLAD I did! As it turned out to be handy for not only my second and third paragraphs, but also other business purposes. I DEFINITELY recommend them!
The last paragraph was not difficult at all; as I had previously created a very brief description of myself, and I completed it the very next day. This happened to be the same day, that Tamara M. posted her blog about her "new peeps" at her shop so I was too late. Better timing next round I hope.
= So what did I discover about myself through all this?
1. I discovered that unfortunately Life's stresses can interrupt when I least need them to, but I can still persevere and get it done - whatever it is.
2. That I am more skilled with making "splash pages" then I realized, and that my word "usage" is still pretty good for descriptions.
3. That when including pictures in a bio, they need to be pretty small to fit it all on one page. So I'm glad that I could leave a link, for others to see them all.
= Once again, I would like to thank Tamara Minns for this request, or "Le Challenge" (as I call it). This experience is well "worth it's weight in gold" to me. I suggest every artist out there that doesn't have one "written up" for themselves already, to do so. (^&^)
=
Until next time...
Take care & Safe travels!!!
Sincerely,
Chris S. (*@^@*)
