Hello,
Tonight I planned to go to a FEW different events, with my friend Rob. Before which, we stopped to visit with another friend along the way. It was a good visit that didn't take too long, and we found that we may meet up with them later.
ROUND 1 - The first event: "KWLT June One Acts".
At: Kitchener Waterloo Little Theatre - 9 Princess St., Waterloo.
Run time: 8 - 11 PM
A fun event with 3 separate skits!
1. "ANGEL vs DEMON a one-act comedy... "
Your classic argument between good and evil, with an unexpected twist to the tale. Taking place in a court room, it was A LOT of fun to watch!!! I took pictures almost as soon as it started, but my camera made noise as I turned it on and off - hoping it did not disturb the women in the seats in front of me (my apologies).
2. I don't recall the title of this one...
This was about 2 detectives that like to stop and shout out a motto, and then go back to the scene as if it never happened. It was quite funny, and of course they got their bad guys in the end.
3. Again, no recall of a title...
This skit started with an evil man who liked to monologue to his side kick, while they were imprisoned. Again, a funny story, with a fun ending.
ALL were very funny, and a pleasure to watch!!! I would CERTAINLY do it again.

ROUND 2 - The second event: Friends' bands playing
At: The Hive! No longer open.
Some local favourites were playing, and as we walked in it was "Loaded Dice" on stage. They were pretty good, and we found out that a friend was to possibly join them soon. RIGHT ON! Other friends were there as well, and I took the opportunity to introduce all who did not already know each other.
It was not long before Third Plain went on, and it was GREAT as usual! Unfortunately by this time we could only stay for maybe 5 songs, before having to leave. Definitely earlier than I would have liked, but it was nice to visit regardless.

ROUND 3 - Mary 5E
At: The Boathouse! No longer open.
I had never been here for an event before, odd because I actually lived on the block. It was overdue to stop in, and do a little socializing. I could hear Mary as I entered, but the lighting was dim so pictures were dark.
It was great to hear her, I got to visit some other friends while there, and it was interesting to meet another. Then I had the chance to take some pictures, including some ducks coming up on the edge of the boat loading dock... "Hello Duckies"... lol

ROUND 4 - Club Abstract!
With PLENTY of space in different rooms/ areas to sit and enjoy the music & views, a HUGE KICKIN' dance floor, plus an open-to-air flow smoking pit/ patio!!! It has become my "home away from home", and I LOVE THIS BAR!!! Upon buying a beer, I hit the dance floor!!! As usual I was out there until I was waaay too warm, and had to go to the pit to get some air!!! Where I got to see more friends, and say "Hello"!!!

Whew! After all the running around, I must say it was definately worth it!!! I got to see several friends in each location - including some playing live, and I got some excess energy out via dancing!!! GREAT NIGHT!!! Thankz to everyone for the invites, and to Rob for coming out!!!
